Dr Mkhize is a qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in the management of orthopaedic trauma, sports injuries and degenerative joint disease. He completed his undergraduate medical degree (MBChB) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, later obtaining a Master of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery (MMed) from the University of the Free State. He is also a Fellow of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa.
With more than 10 years’ experience in orthopaedics, Dr Mkhize is committed to restoring mobility and improving the quality of life through both non-operative and operative management of bone and joint conditions.
Dr Mkhize is passionate about patient-centred care and the continuous advancement of surgical techniques. During his training he completed numerous additional surgical courses including limb reconstruction, complex trauma management, arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement procedures.
